Announcements

We are accepting candy donations for the Ossian Days Parade, which will take place on Saturday, September 19. All kinds of candy are welcome except chocolate. Often the parade day is hot, and chocolate melts and makes a mess. If you would like to walk in the parade with our float, please sign up at the coffee bar. We will meet at church at 3:45p on the day of the parade.
Our church has signed up for Kroger’s Community Rewards Program. If you shop at Kroger and have a Kroger Plus card, you can link your card to our account. Search for Ossian Church of the Nazarene or our number – EE697 on the Kroger app or website. The church will receive quarterly rebates based on purchases. See Jan Roop for details.

Gift Card Fundraiser: We have an on-going fundraiser through RaiseRight.com. When you purchase gift cards for any amount from a variety of participating vendors, the church receives a percentage of your purchase – at no extra cost to you! Gift cards can be selected as e-cards or physical cards. Physical cards can be ordered through the church to cut down on shipping fees. Please see Amber Campbell or Jan Roop with any questions.
Our HVAC units at the church are over 25 years old and showing it. We have five units that need replacing as soon as possible. Three units were shut off this past winter for safety concerns; with the Lord’s provision, we have replaced one of those units! However, we are still in an urgent rush to replace the remaing four. If you are able to give toward this need, please mark your donations “Building Fund.”

Stitches of Hope: Every Friday from 10am-12pm, join a fun group of artisans as they gather to knit, crochet, and fellowship! Items made by these skilled and loving hands include hats, angel gowns, lap blankets, prayer shawls, and more! These items are donated to nursing homes, hospitals, and wherever a need is present! Don’t know how to knit or crochet? These experts are willing to teach!
We look forward to seeing you at our worship services! Sunday Worship Service begins at 10:30am. Midweek programming for kids (PreK-5th) and teens (6th-12th) takes place every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30pm.
