WE EXIST TO MAKE DISCIPLES FOR THE GLORY OF GOD

We make disciples by Gathering, Growing, and Going.

We Gather as a body of believers to exalt Jesus through the reading and preaching of the Bible, prayer, song, communion, and giving.

We Grow as a Church and as individuals though discipleship. At Ossian Nazarene we glorify God by being and making of disciples.

We Go by serving and sharing the gospel so that Jesus might be made known to all people in Ossian and to the ends of the earth.

OUR VISION

WE ARE CALLED TO BE THE CHURCH

To be the Church so the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.

To be the Church by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with as many people we can in all the areas we can.

To be the Church by welcoming new active members into the fellowship of our church family – loving, learning, laughing, and living and serving in harmony together.

To be the Church by equipping every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God has given them and utilizing them for His glory.

To be the Church by developing a Children & Youth Education Ministry aimed at helping children and teens build a relationship with Jesus Christ and provide them with a biblical worldview.

To be the Church by equipping and sending out missionaries and church workers around the world, empowering every believer for a personal life of missions locally and globally.

To be the Church by planting churches as God leads through multiplication of Christ’s true disciples.

To be the Church by expanding our facility to provide for efficient worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and mission, used for counseling, as a prayer center, classrooms for Bible Studies and training lay ministers.

This will become a reality as “WE THE CHURCH” unite together and expect great things from God and attempt great things for God.
